Engagement photos: A photo shoot solely to capture the love of two people getting married... How sweet. Sounds like an effortless event filled with love, nice outfits, and cool scenery.
NOT. Just kidding (kind of). I'm not going to lie, it is an amazing experience but it actually requires a lot of effort. I'm sure about 80% of couples that have undergone this event can agree that it can get very stressful, very quickly.

I have traveled to the actual place where dreams come true, The Museum of Ice Cream in New York. Two things that I absolutely love: the city and endless amounts of ice cream. They were combined together and I'm surprised I was able to contain myself as an adult.
It happened... the day almost every girl dreams about, I got ENGAGED! Wooooo!! Wow, still crazy to think about and say out loud. It feels like a dream that hasn't ended and I'm definitely not complaining about it. Let's go over the details! Let's talk about two of my favorite things, plants and gold shit. Green and Gold go together better than PB&J (& I'm bias cause I actually hate PB&Js, sorrynotsorry). We all know by now my love for plants, but my other love is all things gold. My house consists of a million plants and touches of gold everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I don't live in a jungle with gold statues everywhere but a girl can dream... ;) Anywayyyy, have an empty corner in your place? Big plants and lamps are your answer! I'll make this one short and sweet because I'll definitely write better, more in depth posts (jk like 100 more) on home decor. I'm a huge lover of the little things. When I go to a place, I'm the first to realize the little details because those usually help tie in the whole room! A few books stacked, candles, picture frames, etc. One thing to know about me is my love for plants. I'm obsessed with them and I call them my friends, because they actually are. Shown above is a section on my media console. Some books with a vintage vase on top and a pot from Anthropologie with a snake plant. |
