It happened... the day almost every girl dreams about, I got ENGAGED! Wooooo!! Wow, still crazy to think about and say out loud. It feels like a dream that hasn't ended and I'm definitely not complaining about it. Let's go over the details! Look at the cutie! For our 3 year anniversary, on the 2nd of August, Mike surprised me with a hot air balloon ride and a couples massage *swoon*. He obviously had a couple of more surprises up his sleeve, sneaky sneaky guy. We rode 45 minutes north on his motorcycle at 4am (I still can't believe we both got up that early). We finally get to this field surrounded by mountains with about 5 deflated balloons on the ground and a few more being rolled out. Needless to say it was beautiful to watch them inflate and start floating up! Then within in seconds, we were up! Being the creep that I am, I LOVED watching everything below us including backyards (we spotted some dream yards). After about 20 minutes in the air, awing at the sights all around us, the pilot asked to take our picture *wink wink cough cough* (actually it was a video). Of course I think it's actually a picture and I'm trying to position and fix myself while Mike is trying to keep me still and attentive. *insert his beautiful speech and my sobbing here* AND I SAID YES! He killed it with the ring selection! It's me in ring form. I don't wear a ton of everyday jewelry to begin with and when I do, it has to be V simple, small, and dainty. Personally, the ring you have should represent who you are because you're literally wearing it every freaking day. For example, I'd be damned if I had this godly ring that gets caught in all my tops and hair... NOPE. Disclosure: There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, it's just not my personal style, that's it. Like I said, the ring you have should represent YOU and fuck anyone else if they diss your ring. It's not their ring and they're probs just jealous of how beautiful of a bride you'll be! ANYWAY, back to the details! When we landed there was a picnic being set up on a white clothed table with champagne, pastries, and some fruit. How damn movie-like is that??!!! I swear he really hit a home run with this whole thing, GO BABE! I wish I took a picture of how cute the table was but I was just trying to keep myself together and not continue crying. So I'm actually surprised I even managed to take this picture!
It's safe to say that I'm completely in love with my ring, the whole proposal, and my FIANCE! Get ready for wedding updates and posts! I promise I won't be TOO annoying ;) Thanks for letting me basically brag about my weekend, xx
