Mondays brings me as much hope as it defeat sometimes. The constant want to produce the best work can be draining. Being on top of the ball all the time would be great but, that’s not real life.
There’s times when I get so uninspired and discouraged that I feel like I won’t ever get my creative juices flowing again. I always have to remind myself that without the lows, we wouldn’t appreciate the highs. There's a few things I know always help when I’m feeling less than fully motivated and need to recharge
First of all, hey everyone! It's been a minute since my last post and I have so much to share with you all! It's no surprise that I got married this past month! AH! I'm Mrs. Gabriella Seviya Schultz now, how regal. ;)
With all the ~wisdom~ that I've learned from planning our wedding on my own, from a different state, and on a budget, I feel like I have to share it and of course share (some of) the pictures!!
If girl power, drinks, shopping, and the best chocolate cupcakes you’ve ever had sounds like heaven to you then, your heaven is Femme Fair! This was their second year putting this together and I'm here to give you a break down so you know not to miss it next year.
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY BABES!!!!
Women rock and there's absolutely no denying that! Every single day I'm so proud to be a woman and be surrounded by powerful, inspiring, and beautiful women!
Thinking of all these baddies around me, it really made me think, "What is women empowerment and what does it mean to me? Is it solely supporting other women and pumping each other up to be the best versions of ourselves?" It is but it doesn't start there. Women empowerment should start within. You can’t love and support others without loving and believing in yourself first.
This year Mike and I finally start traveling again since we won't have to save every single penny for the wedding, yay! We have a few trips in mind and not to mention, our honeymoon in June!
I kicked off the new year exploring New Orleans for my first time. Eight of my closest girlfriends and I celebrated my bachelorette party in NOLA and it was one of the best trips I've been on! When people say that city is lively and has amazing food, they aren't kidding in the slightest. This is my first travel guide and I'm sharing my experience in this wonderful city!
What's up everyone? Hope your week has been treating you well. Today I want to talk about taking care of yourself, cause girrrl (or boy), you deserve nothin' but the best!
Sometimes it can be so hard juggling work, a social life, your health, and whatever else is going on. Trust me, I know the struggle. I take on so much at times that my physical and mental health are usually the first to suffer. Let me change all of that for you in one post: Care/of Vitamins.
First and foremost, we made it! It's FRIYAY! Now we can only hope for rain free weekend. To celebrate the best day of the week, I want to share my experience at Femme Fair 2017.
It was so amazing, filled with drinks, sweets, bad ass boss ladies, shopping, and girl power music.... Uhm so basically it was HEAVEN.
Engagement photos: A photo shoot solely to capture the love of two people getting married... How sweet. Sounds like an effortless event filled with love, nice outfits, and cool scenery.
Just kidding (kind of).
I'm not going to lie, it is an amazing experience but it actually requires a lot of effort. I'm sure about 80% of couples that have undergone this event can agree that it can get very stressful, very quickly.
I have traveled to the actual place where dreams come true, The Museum of Ice Cream in New York. Two things that I absolutely love: the city and endless amounts of ice cream. They were combined together and I'm surprised I was able to contain myself as an adult.
It happened... the day almost every girl dreams about, I got ENGAGED! Wooooo!!
Wow, still crazy to think about and say out loud. It feels like a dream that hasn't ended and I'm definitely not complaining about it.
Let's go over the details!
Based in San Francisco, CA, this blog is a public display of my deep affection for clothes, home decor, traveling, all food, and beauty. Take a look around and make yourself comfy!
