The two G's

Let's talk about two of my favorite things, plants and gold shit.

Green and Gold go together better than PB&J (& I'm bias cause I actually hate PB&Js, sorrynotsorry).

We all know by now my love for plants, but my other love is all things gold. My house consists of a million plants and touches of gold everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I don't live in a jungle with gold statues everywhere but a girl can dream... ;)

Anywayyyy, have an empty corner in your place? Big plants and lamps are your answer!

I love a good basket for a plant. Especially when I find a basket that PERFECTLY fits my plant without taking measurements. Now that's luck, if you ask me.

This particular basket was found at the ole faithful Ikea. (There's a link directly to it in the Shop My Stuff tab)

As far as the lamp (also linked), it's from Target, which is another favorite of mine.

After reading, I hope your rooms are now going to be filled with luscious greenery and touches of gold!

Hey GS, I'm digging the gold... and the green. Its an awesome combo that I never thought of putting together. I was at target the other day and came across some sweet gold plated forks and knives. What are your thoughts on gold silverware? I guess you would call it goldware.

Thanks so much! It's my go-to color scheme for my house.

Haha, I love the pun and goldware! It makes something so simple, so chic.

Whoa that's a cool combo! I like it. How do you get your Fiddle to stay alive??

Thanks M! Oh man, that Fiddle Leaf Fig is a finicky guy. Light is a huge factor as well as watering.
Since mine is by a window (some direct sunlight, not a crazy amount), I water it like 1-2 times a week. You want to water it when the first inch of the soil is dry, I just stick my finger in the soil to check.
Let me know if you find any tips or tricks yourself!
