I’m starting to pay more attention to hair accessories and so is everyone else after Fashion Month. Festive barretts, pins, and scarfs are so in right now. I don’t know about you but when I was younger, the more sparkly shit in my hair, the cooler I felt! I wouldn’t leave the house without some type of glizty clip or colorful scrunchie. As an adult, I’m still here for it all! There’s so many different choices of hair candy for all hair types. Not to mention, they’re the best for dirty hair days! Here are a few styles that I've been loving lately.

Recently I've been getting so into curly hair focused products! I know, I know... I've always had curly hair so why just recently? Lately, after finding a new appreciation for my curls, I realized, the better I take care of them, the easier it is to just air dry it and go.
I wash my hair every 4-5 days so, it's important to have good products to maintain healthy hair. I try so many products and some have been fantastic and some, not so much. I want to share with you guys my top 5 favorite products I've tried so far! We’ve all been there where our face decides it wants a party and invites all these pimples to join… like no, thank you. This usually happens to me if I’m not properly taking care of my skin, when I’m way stressed out, or when I travel.
After summer travels and the weather heating up, my skin was not having it. I started breaking out in every area of my face and the stress of breaking out made it worse. So, I’m here to share my quick remedy tips on what to do when your face freaks out! Who doesn't want to have nice, clear skin? I definitely do. Since I don't wear a ton of makeup, I try my hardest to keep a good skincare routine and keeping a routine is key. Most skin types rely on consistency and will break out otherwise.
Today, I'm going to share my morning/ night time routine and my go to products! I'm one of those people that sticks on brands- if it works, I keep using it. I'm low key scared to try new things especially since I have somewhat sensitive skin, tbh. Having trouble relaxing during the holiday season? Join the group! I'm sure all of us need some extra TLC during the craziest time of the year. From gift shopping to putting up with painful convos with relatives you only see once a year, trying to figure out how to relax can seem like another task on the never ending to do list. Well, I got ya covered! Here are a few ways to relax, recharge, and pamper yourself a little!
Heey, I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! Mike and I went camping north of the city and it was so great to disconnect and doing absolutely nothing haha.
Starting a new week, I'm doing something a bit different which makes me feel out of place and vulnerable but what's life if you don't step outside of the comfort zone, right? With that being said, this is me stepping out of my cozy comfort zone and trying out videos! Who loves a fresh face? Everyone please raise their hand. Other than washing your face (read about my skincare here) and indulging in a face mask every once in a while, a huge part of your skins well-being is your daily makeup. Heavy make up can cause breakouts and clog pores, no thank you. I'm a Mac lover and always will be but one brand got so many raving reviews that I had to try it out for myself! It Cosmetics CC+ cream is magic in a tube! Beauty can start anywhere you want whether it's hair, makeup, skin, etc. Personally, beauty starts with my skin, primarily my face.
I'm not saying I am but I'm not saying I'm not a little obsessed with my skin. Outfits and hair and makeup can only help me so much. There's such a misconception that taking care of your face is so difficult and hopeless... NO. I, like every other regular non-blessed person, deals with acne and dark spots. The trick is finding out what kind of skin you have and what regimen and brands works best for you. |
