3 Daily Lifesavers

​Who loves a fresh face? Everyone please raise their hand. Other than washing your face (read about my skincare here) and indulging in a face mask every once in a while, a huge part of your skins well-being is your daily makeup. Heavy make up can cause breakouts and clog pores, no thank you. 

I'm a Mac lover and always will be but one brand got so many raving reviews that I had to try it out for myself! It Cosmetics CC+ cream is magic in a tube!

I've been dying to switch from a powder foundation to a CC cream but never found a brand worthy of converting me until It Cosmetics.​
For those who are unfamiliar with CC cream, it stands for complexion (or color) corrector. It's a light liquid foundation that works for your skin rather than against it. Not only is it great coverage without feeling or looking cakey (hallelujah!), it helps even my skin tone AND has SPF 50... sold. 

Just look at that even color match! The shade shown above is Tan which is a PERFECT match to my skin tone.

So first, I blend my CC cream with a beauty blender which can be purchased almost anywhere where makeup is sold (i.e. Ulta, Sephora, even drugstores or Amazon).

Next is finishing powder, yay! For my first time, I decided to try NYX's HD Studio finishing powder and so far I'm loving it. Light, effective, and the perfect amount of shimmer without making my face look like a flashing billboard. 

As for how I apply the powder, I use Mac's #109 brush. I've been using that # brush for years and it's my go to brush for my face! 
Last but not least is the holy grail of facial sprays... Mario Badescu's Aloe, Herb, & Rose water spray.

I'm so in love that I probably use this spray like 5 times a day. I spray some after my make up to help set it and throughout the day for an extra boost! It gives my face a nice dewey look without overdoing it and making me look like a sweaty animal, ew no.
