Hi lovelies! It’s been so nice in The Bay lately and I’m ready to soak it up over the weekend! It’s also time to start pulling out all of my dresses and shorts before it starts getting cold again, haha. A couple of weeks ago, a sweetheart named Jessica reached out to me to do a shoot while she was in SF. Her style looked great so, of course I said yes and I’m so happy I did. She’s so talented and easy to be around which crucial for a good shoot. She wanted me to keep the outfit neutral with a darker feel. After going through like 48 outfits, I decided to mix work with casual wear! I love showing you guys looks that are office appropriate since I myself am I working gal! Nothing’s worse than having a closet full of gorgeous outfits and 85% of them aren’t work appropriate. Here’s a look that’s easy to put together and most of all, COMFORTABLE! Lately, I’ve mentioned how much I loved playing with neck scarfs on Instagram. They’re so simple but add so much to any look! For this outfit, I tied it around my neck to compliment the square neck line of my sweater and layered a couple of necklaces underneath. My coat, pants, and shoes are such huge staples in my closet. I think I wear my olive coat more than anything I own! It literally goes with everything and is perfect for dressing up or down. Same goes for my converse- those are a closet must!!
Ultimately, I love being able to meet like minded creatives who are so talented through Instagram. It’s such a large world but with this app, everything we need is at our fingertips. It’s pretty mind blowing and it lowkey gives me a headache just thinking about the endless possibilities and opportunities that start with the gram, haha. So thank you Instagram for uniting Jessica and I. If you’re in the LA area, definitely hit her up for a good time and amazing pictures! Hope you guys enjoyed! xx Gabs
