Vintage clothes are gems of a closet, hence the title haha. These are pieces that withstand the test of time! I love finding thrifted pieces to mix with current styles and not to mention, my wallet loves it too. I've made it more of a focus of mine to start thrifting more and I'm very pleased with the results. For this post, I want to share two pieces I found while thrifting and how I styled them. This is something you'll definitely see more of on my blog, so stay tuned for more thrifted treasures! I found this darling black and white button up polo from Goodwill for a grand total of $4.00. I don't think there's a better feeling that finding something so in style for that cheap! I'm really into the school girl look for summer, skirt, polos, all of it and this is the perfect statement top. Here I paired it with with dainty gold jewelry, a bold lip from Mac, Forever 21 mules with a gold touch, and high waisted (semi destroyed) BDG jeans. A quick, comfy, vintage-feel outfit for anytime of the day. Next up on the vintage train, this adorable button dress! I couldn't believe I found such a cute summer dress for only $6! I love the rolled up sleeves, the low cut neck, and how it sits right above the knee. For this, I decided to keep it very simple but add a touch of color for Spring/Summer! My H&M red sling-backs were the perfect colorful shoe to compliment this B&W dress. I matched it with a similar color lip from Stila and some simple rings for a perfect look! Okay, BRB going thrifting again ;) xx
